Acrylic Painting

In these painting experiments, I used acrylic paint because it dries very quickly, so I can apply about 15 to 20 layers of paint. After each applied layer, I put the work on paper under the printing plate to keep it in a stable shape. In 2017, I started to transfer the white dot technique to canvas. I was interested in painting large pictures, up to two metres high, which I filled with white dots in several layers. It was a kind of meditation for me. I consciously worked with a minimum of detail so that the main focus was on the dots. These images are psychological in nature and I wanted to represent the unconscious emotions. With colour, I have also tried to create an atmosphere of “incomprehensibility”.
